LPN/ RN-Long Term Care
Position: LPN/RN (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse)
Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a nurse to provide routine care and support to residents in their Long Term Care unit in Sanders County. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication & Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following approved nursing techniques within scope of practice, and notify providers as needed.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care in health records.
- Patient Education: Develop and participate in the implementation of individualized education plans for residents and their families.
- Care Plan Management: Create and manage care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Competency & Standards: Demonstrate nursing competencies and adhere to relevant infection control standards.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- Supervision: Oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and LPNs, as applicable.
- Team Communication: Communicate clinical information professionally to team members.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current RN or LPN license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of long-term care experience preferred, or equivalent training and experience.
- Skills: Strong cognitive skills related to nursing care.
Schedule & Benefits:
- Schedule: Day shift, 36-40 hours per week.
